Senior NIS Compliance Analyst

As NIS Compliance Analyst, you’ll support the Compliance and Reporting Manager in producing NIS regulatory submissions and compliance reports. You’ll coordinate the collection and validation of cyber compliance and financial data across NGET, ensuring timely, accurate submissions to Ofgem and effective stakeholder engagement.
You will help embed a strong culture of compliance and data quality, ensuring all reporting is robust, consistent, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Compile accurate, high‑quality NGET cyber regulatory submissions and compliance reports, ensuring all reporting obligations are met.
- Work closely with Finance teams to ensure information is reliable, relevant, and delivered to strict deadlines.
- Provide guidance and clear communication to stakeholders involved in RRP data submissions.
- Develop and maintain reporting timetables, responsibilities, and governance documents.
- Track progress against the project plan, leading regular meetings, identifying risks and issues, and driving timely resolution.
- Develop and improve processes for gathering cyber compliance and regulatory data, ensuring strong controls and data integrity.
- Lead the data risk assessment process in line with Data Assurance licence requirements and develop mitigation plans.
- Promote a culture of high‑quality, compliant regulatory reporting across the organisation.
- Analyse and present complex financial and operational data clearly and accurately.
- Support the creation of the annual performance narrative.
- Conduct analytical reviews and quality checks, investigating anomalies and recommending corrective actions.
- Stay up to date with regulatory and market developments related to Cyber OT compliance.
- Support data preparation and agendas for relevant programme and performance meetings.
This role is based at our office Warwick for 2 days of the week and can be combined with hybrid working from home.
What you'll need
- Strong experience analysing complex data and structures to deliver meaningful insights and solutions.
- Understanding of investment structures and data flows across the project lifecycle.
- Proficient with accounting and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, BI) and skilled in Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of the NIS Regulations and Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF), or an awareness of future regulatory developments would be beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong management accounting capabilities, including analytical review, data presentation, and governance.
- Ability to work independently, managing workload and delivering high‑quality outputs.
- Effective communication, influencing skills, and experience working across virtual teams.
- Proactive problem‑solver with an understanding of UK ET regulatory reporting obligations.
Desirable
- Experience in compliance or regulatory reporting.
- Further knowledge of the NIS Regulations and associated frameworks.
