  • Provide suitable management information to support project decisions and prepare materials for performance meetings where required, or submission of government or regulatory submissions as needed.
  • Support the presentation of monthly results in a style suitable for both a finance and non-finance audience, delivering insight and highlighting priority areas for focus, ensuring efficiencies are optimised for the longer term.
  • Co-ordinate the reporting and planning processes by setting accurate timetables, key performance metrics and guidance to ensure delivery to agreed timescales and stakeholder requirements.
  • Support the long-term business & financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to drive performance and support in the NGV-wide planning process.
  • Using reporting systems to extract data for review and build useful reports for the business.
  • Act as a key point of contact for key finance stakeholders, supporting them in generating and interpreting business information.
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to improve processes through best practice and AI.
  • You will support the Interconnectors FP&A team with advanced use of Microsoft Excel to create and improve internal financial models, including harnessing Power Query & Power BI.

What You'll Have:

  • You’re a Qualified or near Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting experience.
  • Good understanding of core financial processes.
  • You have financial modelling, advanced excel and ideally Power BI and Power Query skills and enjoy process improvement.
  • You have a strong management accounting background.
  • Proactive self-starter with ability to manage own workload, to time and desired levels of quality.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment and can adapt approaches and utilise and align skills to different customer groups.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and collaboration skills.
  • Strong results orientation.
