National Grid is hiring a Rewards Partner bridging the Global Compensation team and HR Business Partners (HRBPs). This role is focused on aligning reward strategies with business objectives, ensuring strategic execution, and effectively managing tailored reward solutions across diverse business units and functions.

 

The role is a hybrid role so you can enjoy working from the office based in Warwick as well as working from home.

 

What you'll do

 

Strategic Leadership and Creative Development

• Collaborate closely with senior management and HRBPs to define, develop, and execute comprehensive reward strategies aligned with the company's strategic direction.

• Provide innovative, strategic reward solutions tailored to specific business unit requirements.

• Ensure strategic coherence and effectiveness of global reward initiatives.

 

Team Leadership and Design Culture

• Collaborate closely with senior management and HRBPs to define, develop, and execute comprehensive reward strategies aligned with the company's strategic direction.

• Provide innovative, strategic reward solutions tailored to specific business unit requirements.

• Ensure strategic coherence and effectiveness of global reward initiatives

 

Budget and Resource Management

• Collaborate closely with senior management and HRBPs to define, develop, and execute comprehensive reward strategies aligned with the company's strategic direction.

• Provide innovative, strategic reward solutions tailored to specific business unit requirements.

• Ensure strategic coherence and effectiveness of global reward initiatives.

 

Key Focus Areas

• Act as the primary liaison between the Global Reward team and HRBPs, ensuring effective and clear communication.

• Understand and anticipate unique business needs, proactively providing reward strategies and solutions.

• Ensure reward advisors operate strategically rather than tactically or operationally.

• Provide expert advice and strategic insights to HRBPs, helping them manage reward-related matters.

• Support HRBPs in developing and executing tailored reward strategies for their respective units.

• Maintain proactive engagement with HRBPs through strategic insights, updates, and advice.

• Oversee strategic market analysis, ensuring that reward offerings remain competitive and attractive.

• Train and mentor HRBPs to effectively implement and manage reward programs within their business units or functions.

 

 

 

What you'll need

 

  • Extensive experience in reward management, including strategy development, market analysis, and benchmarking.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate strategically and proactively in a global business environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using data and analytics to inform reward strategies.

 

What you'll get

 

A competitive salary between £62,000 - £89,000 per annum– dependent on capability.

 

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
