Are you ready to lead the charge in shaping strategic procurement for major capital programmes?
As a Programme Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering innovative procurement strategies that drive real business impact. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation and beyond, building strong relationships and aligning commercial approaches with business goals. From understanding complex needs to crafting go-to-market plans and contract models, you’ll be at the heart of transforming ideas into outcomes.
This role is based out of our Warwick office, with hybrid working. We’re happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you!
What You’ll Do:
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable supply chain requirements by partnering with stakeholders and shaping a forward-looking procurement pipeline.
- Collaborate with Senior Programme Procurement Leads and stakeholders to define smart procurement strategies—covering delivery models, commercial constructs, and go-to-market plans.
- Coordinate across Procurement teams—category managers, risk experts, strategic supplier leads, and market development—to bring together the right expertise for capital programme success.
- Own procurement programme management, driving plans, managing critical paths, and mitigating risks to ensure timely and effective contract awards.
- Embed yourself in cross-functional teams to gain market insights and strengthen supply chain planning across capital programmes.
- Lead the identification and mitigation of procurement-related risks (L2/L3), creating a proactive environment for risk management with stakeholders and Delivery Vehicle heads.
- Consolidate procurement performance across teams to support Business Unit reporting and strategic decision-making.

What You’ll Have:
- MCIPS qualified or working towards with strategy experience in construction capital procurement on large-scale infrastructure or construction programmes.
- Ability to operate within cross functional teams and experience of programme management
- Experience of managing capital procurement programmes within a supply chain / commercial context
- Demonstrable ability to forge strong relationships with key stakeholders and supply chain
- Experience of commercial / contract development, particularly construction contracts and building commercial strategies (NEC4 desirable)
- Understanding of regulatory environment and regulated procurement is desirable

What You'll Get:
A competitive salary of £43,000-£53,000 – dependent on capability.
As well as your base salary you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
