Are you ready to make a significant impact in the Network Operations and Intelligence department? We are seeking 2 Portfolio Governance Officers to support our growing Portfolio Deliverability team at NGET.
As part of our mission to provide insights and facilitate effective collaboration across departments, you will help embed integrated and robust processes that strengthen oversight of outage planning portfolio delivery. This includes change management, planning control, and risk escalation.
What You'll Do:
- Drive Compliance: Monitor key metrics in the annual planning process and escalate deviations to ensure accountability.
- Own Processes: Audit either the change control or outage planning process, ensuring high-impact requests are thoroughly reviewed and justified.
- Documentation Mastery: Maintain sole authorship of change documentation, accurately recording significant deviations from commitments.
- Enforce Accountability: Hold our departments to account for under performance or lack of process adherence, making the impacts clear.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance governance processes and contribute to the development of best practices.
This role is based in our offices in Warwick for one day per week, and this can be combined with hybrid working from home.
What you'll need
- A problem-solving mindset to tackle challenges effectively.
- Comfortable operating within structured governance environments and facilitating decision-making forums.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality documentation and report key insights to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
- Experience in utilities, infrastructure, or regulated industries is desirable.
- An understanding of how the NGET business operates, and its associated challenges is also desirable.
