National Grid is looking for a Personal Assistant with previous sucessful experience supporting at executive / senior leadership level. You will provide dedicated support to three senior leaders within the National Grid People Function. This role is based at Warwick, with an expectation of working on-site around 3 days per week.
About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and highly organised Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to three senior leaders within National Grid’s People Function, including the Chief People Officers across the Electricity Distribution, Electricity Transmission and Strategic Infrastucture business units.
This is a pivotal role where you will play a key part in enabling senior leaders to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. You’ll be at the centre of day-to-day operations, managing complex diaries and inboxes, coordinating travel, and ensuring priorities are aligned and delivered seamlessly.
You’ll take ownership of planning and coordinating a wide range of meetings and events — from executive-level discussions to team sessions, conferences and external engagements — ensuring every detail is thoughtfully managed. Your ability to anticipate needs, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain a calm and professional approach will be essential.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, communicates with confidence, and brings a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. You will work both independently and collaboratively, building strong relationships and acting as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders.
Please note previous experience as a Personal Assistant supporting at executive level / senior leadership level is a must have requirement for this role.
What You'll Do
- Manage executive support at pace – Coordinate complex diaries and inboxes for three senior leaders, ensuring priorities are effectively managed and meeting requests are handled promptly.
- Plan and coordinate travel and logistics – Arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodation, transfers, and supporting itineraries, while coordinating meetings and events around travel schedules.
- Prepare and support key meetings – Organise executive and board-level meetings by coordinating agendas, booking venues, managing logistics, and ensuring all participants are well briefed.
- Lead communication and event coordination – Manage incoming communications, respond to queries, and organise a range of onsite and offsite meetings, conferences, and events.
- Support operational excellence – Handle expenses and invoices, provide cover across the wider PA network when required (including support to the Chief People Officer), and contribute to additional projects and initiatives as needed.
About You
- Brings proven experience as a Personal Assistant supporting at executive level, with strong proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Demonstrates exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage a demanding, fast-moving workload with accuracy.
- Communicates confidently and professionally, with strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Thrives in changing environments, showing adaptability, resilience, and a positive, “can-do” attitude while using initiative to anticipate needs.
- Operates with the highest level of integrity and discretion, handling sensitive and confidential information with care and professionalism.
What You'll Get
Competitive Salary: £40,706 - £44,297 per annum (based on capability, and experience)
