As Head of Category & Procurement Business Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the supply chain strategy across our business units and functions. Reporting directly to the VP of Procurement, you’ll be the key operational link between Procurement and senior business leaders—driving strategic engagement and ensuring our supply chain delivers on cost, quality, and reliability.
You’ll lead the development and execution of a compelling category strategy, overseeing vendor relationships and contract management across a broad portfolio. Your focus will be on unlocking value—financially, operationally, and sustainably—through our global and regional supply chains.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll continuously evolve category strategies, strengthen supplier partnerships, and collaborate across Global Procurement and the wider business to harness market insights and deliver resilient, future-ready solutions.
This role will be based out of our Warwick office, and you can enjoy our hybrid working from office and home.
What You’ll Do:
- Shape and deliver global category strategies that drive value, innovation, and resilience.
- Unlock supplier spend potential through smart sourcing, contract management, and vendor partnerships.
- Set and track KPIs to ensure continuous improvement across cost, quality, and service.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives—from market research to negotiation—delivering best-in-class supplier solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with key suppliers to boost performance and innovation.
- Collaborate across Procurement and business units to deliver aligned supply chain plans.
- Proactively manage category risks including supply disruptions, price volatility, and quality issues.
- Lead a high performing, engaged team focused on delivering measurable value and strategic goals.
What You'll Have:
- MCIPS qualification and a proven ability to spot and deliver value across diverse categories.
- Deep experience in global supply chain management within complex enterprise environments.
- Confident communicator, able to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally including C-suite leaders.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring teams in category, sourcing, and relationship management.
- A track record of driving value beyond savings—through lean thinking, value engineering, and unlocking income opportunities.
- Strategic mindset with a clear understanding of how category decisions impact broader business goals.
- Expert negotiator with a sharp commercial edge and a knack for securing high-impact contracts.
- Relationship builder who knows how to drive performance and value through major supplier partnerships.

What You'll Get:
A competitive salary - dependent on capability.
As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance with on target being 20% (with a maximum of 40%) and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
