We’re looking for a passionate FP&A Analyst to provide essential insight for our Business stakeholders and Group Finance team. You’ll contribute to the delivery of high-quality forecasts, provide useful analysis, insights and commentary each month, liaise with the business partners, taking ownership of reporting processes and controls. 

 

This role is based out of our Warwick office, and we’d hope to see you at least two days per week but you’re welcome to be in the office more often if that would work best for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Review and challenge Entity performance to provide insightful reporting, aligned to group and entity targets
  • Prepare insightful financial analysis and draft narrative for Group, Executive and Board reporting. 
  • Coordinate and deliver the Quarterly Rolling Forecast in partnership with Finance Business Partners.
  • Prepare key financial inputs to support entity and functional requirements. 
  • Act as a trusted business partner across the organisation, collaborating with specialist managers, wider finance teams, and the business. 
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis, investigation, and resolution of complex or challenging issues.
  • Proactively build own knowledge of RIIO T3 and its impact on the industry and the business to support key decisions and advise and guide own business area
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to improve processes through best practice and new technologies such as advanced use of Microsoft Excel, including Power Query & Power Bi, to create and improve internal financial models.
  • Lead and support the transformation of AI capabilities, embedding AI-enabled insights and automation to improve financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

What You’ll Have:

  • Qualified or near Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
  • Experience across planning, forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting—you know how to turn numbers into something meaningful.
  • A solid understanding of core financial processes and how they fit together.
  • Strong financial modelling skills, with advanced Excel capability—and if you’ve used Power BI or Power Query, even better. You enjoy finding smarter, more efficient ways of doing things.
  • A strong grounding in management accounting and the ability to provide clear, insightful support to the business.
  • A proactive, self driven approach—you’re comfortable owning your workload and delivering quality work on time.
  • A practical, adaptable mindset. You stay calm in a changing environment and can flex your style to suit different stakeholders and needs.
  • Some exposure to business partnering and the confidence to engage with teams across the organisation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills—you know how to build relationships, influence decisions and work well with others.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of regulatory funding mechanisms.

What You'll Get:

Up to £57,000– dependent on capability.
 
As well as your base salary you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
