National Grid is hiring an Analyst to join the Enterprise planning and performance team reporting to the Director and supporting the development and delivery of an enterprise view of National Grid’s transformation across each strategic priority.

 

As an Enterprise Tramsformation Analyst you will cultivate strong working relationships and collaborate with Strategy & Transformation and Functional teams in Transmission, Distribution, Infrastructure, and Ventures to integrate each Transformation plans and support the development of an Enterprise Transformation view.

 

We offer flexible hybrid working arrangements. We have an office in Warwick or London so we’d hope to see you in one of our offices one or 2 days a week, and you’re welcome to be in the office more often if that would work best for you and there will also be ad-hoc travel to other locations as business need arises.

You will also need a full UK driving licence for this role.

 

What you'll do

 

  • Support the UK Enterprise Transformation Planning Principal to engage key stakeholders and progress the UK agenda for Enterprise Transformation governance and deliverables
  • Support the development and maintenance of the Enterprise-wide transformation plan.
  • Support the development of executive presentations to provide insights on Enterprise Transformation progress, risks and opportunities to the CEO and Group Executives, including maintaining Power BI reports to enable effective transformation tracking.
  • Assist in driving key analyses and strategic decisions through effective reporting, comprehensive analyses, and clear communication of key findings.
  • Provide Delivery and Assurance support on specific programs and special projects as needed

 

What you'll need

 

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business, STEM, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Strong data analysis and consolidation skills, particularly using Microsoft Excel.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, with experience creating executive-level presentations.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and experience in the Utilities or Energy industry, project management, or financial planning is a plus.

A competitive salary between £48,374 - £52,465 per annum– dependent on capability.
