We’re looking for a passionate Commercial Strategy Implementation Lead to join our Commercial team!
Under the direction of the Head of Commercial Excellence, the Commercial Strategy Implementation Lead is responsible for shaping, driving, and delivering an integrated commercial strategy across the organisation, ensuring key milestones are achieved to support both operational delivery and business growth. The role requires a flexible and results-driven approach to managing a portfolio of projects, with insights and lessons learned shared across the wider business and beyond. Its purpose is to enable Commercial Excellence to progress to its next phase of evolution by expanding and accelerating the rollout of key elements of the Commercial Excellence Framework across both onshore and offshore delivery teams.
This role is based out of our Warwick office, and we’d hope to see you at least two days per week but you’re welcome to be in the office more often if that would work best for you. We’re happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you.
What You'll Do
- Lead and own end-to-end implementation of strategic Commercial Excellence initiatives ensuring alignment to enterprise priorities and delivery of measurable business value.
- Translate strategic initiatives into clear execution roadmaps, performance tracking, ensuring delivery against key milestones and outcomes.
- Identify, shape and deliver high-impact commercial improvement opportunities using data, insight and industry best practice.
- Act as a senior integrator across functions, driving alignment and collaboration to deliver complex, cross-business commercial initiatives.
- Lead on providing clear, evidence-based recommendations to senior leadership, influencing decision making and driving adoption across Strategic Infrastructure.
- Lead the embedding of commercial standards, tools, controls and ways of working to strengthen capability and consistency.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and performance excellence across the commercial function.
- Communicate initiatives with impact, influencing and aligning stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Capture and scale learning across programmes to ensure sustainable, repeatable improvement and organisational maturity.
What You'll Have
- Degree or equivalent in relevant discipline (economics/law/business/engineering or similar).
- UK Drivers Licence.
- Significant experience operating at a senior level within a commercial, infrastructure, or capital delivery environment.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale strategy implementation or business transformation in a complex, matrix organisation.
- Strong understanding of commercial lifecycle management across major capital programmes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional strategic initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
- Change and transformation leadership.
- Strong programme and project delivery capability.
- Analytical, insight-driven decision making.
- Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments.

What You'll Get
Up to £76,000 dependent on experience.
As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance with on target being 15% (with a maximum of 30%) and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
