The British Energy Security Strategy set out the Government's ambition to connect up to 50GW of offshore generation to the electricity network by 2030. Facilitating this ambition will require significant reinforcements to the onshore electricity transmission network. National Grid Strategic Infrastructure will make this happen.

About The Role

 

 

Great Britain's electricity infrastructure is undergoing an ambitious, exciting and vital transformation. Together with industry, we are creating  a cleaner, greener system, one that protects the planet and serves generations to come.

Strategic Infrastructure are setting up a Common Data Environment which requires an experienced individual on a full time basis to support implementation and standardization throughout its lifecycle.

This role is based at our Warwick office which has free onsite parking, and we continue to offer hybrid working from office and home. Typically the current team look to get together at least once per week with other activities at home/ off site. 

We are open to full time and part time applicants, as well as flexible working arrangements.

 

 

About You

  • Experience of managing a CDE (In specific – Autodesk Construction Cloud) from an administration level
  • Experience in BIM processes, with proven record in deploying / managing CDE to ISO19650)
  • CDE Subject Matter Expertise, preferably Autodesk Construction Cloud or equivalent
  • Support define requirements for a CDE platform that can support our integrated CDE solution.
  • Working knowledge of Building Information Management (BIM) Level 2 and associated workflows and processes.

What You'll Do

 

 

You will:

 

  • CDE Platform administration across the Strategic Infrastructure business
  • Support developing CDE implementation and migration plans as required, incorporating people, process, technology and security activities.
  • Implement and manage the CDE for projects including all joiners / movers / leavers processes
  • Maintain, manage and configure within Autodesk Construction Cloud new additional workflows required by the business.
  • Develop CDE guidance, training materials, and templates in close cooperation with SI aligned to ISO 19650 international standards
  • Contribute to the development of knowledge and experience in the UK on CDE best practice based on their information management (IM) standards knowledge
  • Contribute to the targets for BIM implementation across Strategic infrastructure
  • Manage CDE document control, transmittal, RFI, review and approval processes.

A competitive salary between £45,000 – £50,000 – dependent on capability.
