What you'll do
As Senior Identity Governance Engineer, you'll play a critical role in supporting and maintaining an organization’s identity governance and access control frameworks. You'll ensure that employees, vendors, and partners have the right access to systems and data, following best practices in compliance, security, and data integrity. Key responsibilities include the following:
- Oversee and manage IAM solutions, with a particular focus on SailPoint and Active Directory. Configure, administer, and optimize these platforms to support the organization's security and compliance requirements.
- Implement and maintain processes for onboarding, offboarding, and modifying user access. Integrate IAM systems with HR platforms such as SuccessFactors to ensure timely and accurate provisioning and de-provisioning of accounts.
- Design, implement, and maintain RBAC models to enhance security and streamline access across the enterprise. Collaborate with business units to define roles and entitlements, ensuring the principle of least privilege.
- Work closely with Master Data Management teams to maintain high-quality identity data. Ensure that identity attributes are accurate, current, and synchronized across all relevant systems.
- Coordinate periodic access reviews using SailPoint and other tools to validate user entitlements. Drive remediation efforts in response to findings, minimizing the risk of unauthorized access.
- Develop and maintain integrations between IAM solutions, Active Directory, HR systems (such as SuccessFactors), and MDM platforms. Leverage automation to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and support business agility.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to IAM, including access problems, authentication failures, and user conflicts. Collaborate with IT support and security teams to quickly address incidents and minimize impact.
- Support internal and external audits related to access governance. Maintain documentation for IAM processes, system configurations, and compliance activities. Respond to audit inquiries and implement recommended controls.
- Propose and implement enhancements to IAM operations, focusing on standardization, scalability, and alignment with evolving business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IAM questions, requests, and issues. Engage with business, HR, and IT teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that support organizational growth and digital transformation.
About you
- 3+ years in an IAM analyst or operations role within a medium to large enterprise.
- Hands-on experience implementing and supporting SailPoint IAM solutions.
- Proficient in SailPoint IdentityNow or IdentityIQ, with hands-on experience in administration, configuration, and integration.
