Job Purpose

 

In this role, you'll help shape the future of clean energy by building relationships with key industry partners and driving the adoption of innovative energy solutions. Working with manufacturers, contractors, engineers, architects, distributors, and other market leaders, you'll identify opportunities, gather industry insights, and develop engagement strategies that encourage participation in energy efficiency and electrification programs. Your work will directly support customers in reducing energy use, advancing sustainability goals, and accelerating the transition to a cleaner energy future.

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Build relationships that drive clean energy adoption with manufacturers, contractors, engineers, distributors, and other industry leaders.
  • Lead strategic market initiatives that expand participation in energy efficiency and electrification programs.
  • Turn market insights into action by identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and program performance.
  • Represent National Grid across the industry through events, partnerships, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Help solve market challenges and accelerate the adoption of innovative energy technologies.

Qualifications

 

Required:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in energy efficiency, electrification, stakeholder engagement, business development, program management, sales, or market development.
  • Experience building and managing relationships with industry stakeholders such as manufacturers, distributors, contractors, engineering firms, trade allies, or industry associations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn market insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with commercial, industrial, and municipal customers or stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel as needed; mileage reimbursement is available.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Preferred:

 

  • Knowledge of Mass Save® programs and commercial and industrial energy efficiency markets.
  • Understanding of electrification initiatives and the factors that influence customer adoption of energy solutions.
  • Knowledge of energy policy, regulation, customer experience, and energy efficiency best practices.
  • Familiarity with commercial building systems, HVAC technologies, heat pumps, weatherization measures, and emerging clean energy technologies.
  • Experience helping customers, partners, or organizations identify and implement energy-saving solutions.

Salary

 

$125,000 - $146,000 a year
