National Grid is hiring a Manager for our Data Analytics department in Northboro MA or Waltham MA with the ability to travel throughout our service territory for critical meetings where face-to-face interaction is of high value.

Key Accountabilities

• Innovate with Technology. Stay ahead of the curve with modern platforms, tools, and methodologies. Lead the adoption of scalable, cloud-based solutions that future-proof our analytics capabilities.
• Elevate Data Integrity. Establish trusted data governance practices. Ensure our data is not only accurate and secure—but also ethically used and aligned with our values.
• Build and Empower Teams. Cultivate a high-performing, inclusive analytics team. Coach and mentor talent through structured development programs, fostering curiosity, clarity, and continuous growth.
• Collaborate for Change. Partner across departments to identify opportunities where data can drive better outcomes. Be the bridge between technical expertise and business vision.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in analytics
• Expertise in SQL, Python/R, and visualization tools like Power BI
• Experience with cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS) and big data technologies
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams and deliver project results in a comprehensive and timely fashion
• A valid driver’s license with a safe driving record is required
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Environmental Science, or similar)

Salary: $143,000 - $168,000

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Internal candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
