Lead Analyst

National Grid is hiring a Lead Analyst for our Business Performance/PMO department. This hybrid role can be based in either Waltham, MA or Northboro, MA.

The Role
Lead Analyst has two areas of responsibility. The first responsibility involves performance management reporting for the New England (NE) Jurisdiction. The second responsibility provides Project Management Office (PMO) services to the NE Regulatory team, including project management support for key regulatory proceedings and overall support to enhance daily team operations.
What You'll Do
- Support metric development and reporting with accurate and timely data for various scorecards
- Ensure accurate and timely collection, analysis, and reporting of performance data
- Contribute to the cadence of reports in place to support the NE leadership team and CEO office
- Develop written narratives for meeting materials and reports in line with corporate deadlines
- Provide project management support for key regulatory proceedings to enable cross-functional coordination and ensure compliance with mandated deadlines
- Support PMO activities for the benefit of the Regulatory team which include coordination of training, all-hands meetings, testing and deploying new tools (e.g AI) and managing the workplan of regulatory filings/reports
About You
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of experience in project management or utility industry and/or performance reporting roles required
- Proven ability to work well across various organizational levels and influence in a collaborative manner required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and well organized to prioritize work and manage deadlines
- Committed to continuous improvement, risk management and process efficiency
- Project Management certification or willingness to obtain preferred

Salary
$132,000 - $145,000 a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
