National Grid is hiring an Engineer, Gas Asset Management for our MA Gas Asset and Distribution Engineering department in Waltham, MA.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine engineering analysis and provide recommendations associated with system operating procedures, equipment and facility integrity assessments, as well as system analysis
- Independently collate and analyze data within one area using pre-determined tools, methods and formats in order to support the department’s decision-making process
- Monitor resources and program spending to make appropriate arrangements to ensure that work is carried out efficiently and in line with relevant policies and processes
Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, or Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited engineering school is required; the position aligns closest to Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or similar engineering discipline
- 2+ years of experience in an engineering role required
- Proven knowledge of relevant industry practice, standards and legislation required
- Proficiency with Excel required
Salary
$106,000 - $124,000 a year
