Technical Administrator
About the role

We’re looking for a Technical Administrator to support our Infrastructure Delivery team across the Midlands region. You’ll play a key role in managing project documentation and coordinating technical information, from project design through to closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project data in Livelink (or similar), including minutes, drawings, records and closure documents.
- Maintain regional data storage in line with document retention requirements.
- Support project closure by tracking required documents, liaising with contractors and ensuring approvals are completed.
- Collate and report weekly and monthly performance data for Project Managers and leadership.
- Provide technical administrative support, including:
- Understanding substation design/build to accurately record actions and decisions.
- Following up on technical actions with owners.
- Interpreting information to produce technical reports.
- Managing client documents and registers.
- Create and maintain a drawing package tracker to monitor progress from design to site.
- Own the lessons learned tracker, coordinate reviews with stakeholders, assign improvement actions, and communicate outcomes across the Construction team.
This role is based at our office at Castle Donington, with the opportunity to combine with home working in line with our hybrid working policy.
About You
- Strong experience coordinating business systems within a commercial project management environment.
- Solid background in document management, including the use and administration of online collaborative platforms such as Livelink, SharePoint or similar tools.
- Confident use of desktop software to analyse, present and report on data in numerical, graphical and written formats, including the ability to create reports and work with functions like pivot tables.
- Knowledge of the Electricity Transmission System is beneficial, but not essential.
