We're particularly keen to hear from professionals with experience in the construction, utilities, infrastructure, energy, engineering or major projects sectors, who can bring strong commercial expertise and a collaborative approach to project delivery.
About the Opportunities
We have a range of opportunities across our Electricity Transmission and Strategic Infrastructure (NGET) business area, which includes opportunities across different commercial teams. Successful candidates will play a key role in managing commercial performance, supporting contract administration, driving value, and helping to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and sustainably.
We are recruiting across multiple regions throughout the UK such as Central England, South East England, South West England, North East England, North West England, East Anglia, North Wales and Scotland. There are opportunities available across Pre and Post Contract, offering a variety of career paths across National Grid's growing portfolio of projects.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for Quantity Surveyors who have experience in;
- Working as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction, utilities, infrastructure, engineering or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of NEC contracts (NEC3 and/or NEC4).
- Commercial and contractual management experience across project lifecycles (Pre or Post Contract).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
- A proactive approach to risk management, cost control and value optimisation.
