- Lead stakeholder engagement, managing key internal, external and community interfaces
- Oversee Framework Contractors, ensuring effective delivery and performance
- Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, issues and complaints across the team
- Support Grantor Relations activities, maintaining accurate land and electricity grantor records
- Track and report on programme delivery, including milestones, risks, contracts and financials
- Share best practice and lessons learned to drive consistency and continuous improvement across the land team
About you
- Experience in land agency or agricultural liaison, ideally within a utility or land agency practice
- Strong knowledge of valuation principles and land compensation law
- Proven experience across project, programme, risk, contract and financial management, with a focus on accurate, timely reporting
- A solid understanding of planning, environmental and amenity considerations impacting land-based projects
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach
- Confident negotiator, able to engage effectively with landowners, the public, developers, contractors and commercial stakeholders
- Strong digital capability, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint and mapping tools
- Ideally AssocRICS / MRICS (or working towards)
What you'll get
- A competitive salary between £42,000 - £52,000 – dependent on capability.
- Job requirement company car.
- An annual performance bonus.
- 26 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
- The option to buy additional or sell holiday days.
- Generous contributory pension scheme - we will double-match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
- A comprehensive internal training programme along with support for relevant external courses.
- Financial support to help cover the cost of professional membership subscriptions, course fees, books, exam fees and time off for study leave - so long as it's relevant to your role.
- Access to flexible benefits such as a share incentive plan, salary sacrifice car and technology schemes, support via employee assistance lines and matched charity giving to name a few.
- Family care benefits including a back-up care service for when your usual care arrangements fall through (six paid days each year as standard with the option to purchase further days).
- Access to apps that support health, fitness and wellbeing.
