What You'll Do
- Proactively collaborate with the business to develop early visibility of the project pipeline within the portfolio.
- Translate business requirements into clear and actionable commercial & contracting strategies for projects.
- Work alongside procurement, development and delivery teams to establish the most effective contracting and delivery strategies, tailored to both project and portfolio need.
- Comprehensive commercial strategy development including staging and packaging of contracts, deployment of Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), NEC main option selection, secondary options and incentivisation mechanisms.
- Support the transition of projects from development into delivery by ensuring robust commercial arrangements are in place.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and supply chain partners to drive collaboration and value.
- Identify and manage commercial, contractual and supply chain risks and proactively address challenges that may arise.
- Manage and maintain portfolio data, providing insights, updates and reporting to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to commercial and financial processes, governance requirements, and procedures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of commercial processes, guidance and best practice.
