National Grid is hiring a Manager, Performance & Strategy . This Hybrid role can sit in either our Melville, NY, Albany, NY Syracuse, NY Buffalo, NY or Millbury, MA location.
Job Purpose
The Manager, US Learning Performance & Strategy serves as a strategic partner to the Head of US Technical Training, providing insights, analysis, and recommendations that shape strategy and drive measurable outcomes for the US TT and delivery resources. This role develops performance frameworks, leverages data and analytics to inform decision-making, and leads process and project initiatives that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with business goals. The incumbent engages directly with senior stakeholders to assess current performance, identify opportunities, and influence strategic direction across the front line-operational workforce.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Operations Management, Finance or related field required.
- Master’s degree or professional certification preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in performance management, analytics, process improvement or learning operations.
- Utility industry experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of performance management, operational analytics, and business strategy within a large, complex organization.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders and influence through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
- Proven experience with performance dashboards, scorecards and KPI frameworks.
- Expertise in analytics, and visualization tools.
- Knowledge of learning operations, workforce development and technical training preferred.
- Familiarity with learning management systems, particularly Success Factors, and an understanding of industry best practices.
- Skilled in project and change management, with experience delivering cross-functional initiatives.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma or equivalent)
- Utility industry experience preferred.
Salary
Downstate NY: $170,000 - $200,000 a year
Upstate NY: $141,000 - $166,000 a year
New England MA: $158,000 - $186,000 a year

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
