Job Purpose

 

The Program Delivery Lead is responsible for executing strategic initiatives supporting FutureNow, Copperleaf, and OIP programs by applying structured project and program management practices. The role ensures alignment between portfolio strategy, investment planning, and operational delivery by integrating asset, resource, and capital planning considerations and coordinating across cross-functional teams. Additionally, the position provides technical leadership for system and data issue resolution, manages vendor performance against contractual expectations, and delivers clear communications to support leadership decision-making and successful program outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Program Management & Delivery: Lead execution of program roadmaps, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives, timelines, and milestones. Track progress, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery. Lead benchmarking workshops with peers to inform company strategy.
  • Portfolio & Investment Planning Alignment: Support optimization utilization, ensuring alignment with portfolio strategies, value frameworks, and long-term planning objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate alignment across Asset Planning, IT, Operations, and Portfolio teams; manage interdependencies and ensure accountability across workstreams.
  • Governance & Reporting: Support governance forums through structured updates, performance tracking, issue/risk escalation and process creation. Ensure adherence to delivery standards and processes.
  • System & Data Oversight: Coordinate resolution of system and data issues within FutureNow/Copperleaf. Support data validation and governance to ensure accuracy and consistency. Act as technical lead for troubleshooting system and data issues, driving root cause analysis and solution development.
  • Vendor Management: Own vendor relationships and contract support to ensure optimal contract value while holding vendors accountable for delivering against agreed milestones, timelines, and performance expectations. Coordinate with external partners to support delivery, workshops, and tool enablement, ensuring alignment with program timelines.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Develop clear, concise communications and materials to support decision-making, roadmap alignment, and leadership engagement.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • 7+ years of business, Engineering, Finance, or related field experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in project or program management within complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio management, capital investment planning, and prioritization frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience acting as a technical lead or functional SME, supporting troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and solution development for system or data-related issues.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with planning or optimization tools (e.g., Copperleaf, FutureNow) preferred.
  • Experience managing external vendors and contracts, ensuring delivery against milestones, timelines, and performance expectations.
  • Demonstrated experience in portfolio management, capital investment planning, and prioritization frameworks.

Salary: $131,000.00 - $154,000.00 USD annually
