Job Purpose

National Grid is currently looking for a highly motivated Lead Analyst that can work effectively, as a strategic coordinator and liaison with precision in our Property Services function. The candidate selected for this position will assist the NY Property Services team with both maintaining day-to-day processes and identification and coordination of process improvements with specialized resources. This role is also responsible for office space planning and project tracking data and activities to provide relevant and up-to-date information to support NY Facilities and Capital Project Management teams.

Key Accountabilities

  • Analyze and coordinate space planning initiatives
    • Review and maintain space utilization standards and ensure consistent application and adherence to standards. 
    • Stakeholder response and support in addressing space needs and moves within and across buildings
    • Coordination with supporting vendor on the Matrix Booking system
    • Analyze occupancy trends from badge swipe data and coordinate reporting with Finance and other stakeholders
    • Analyze, recommend, educate, and enforce space policies and procedures while identifying and notifying clients of requested exceptions to established standards and protocols.
    • Lead cross functional teams to coordinate office moves and develop migration plans, conduct facility audits, and support seamless workplace transitions.
    • Present space utilization analytics to support strategic  decisions
    • Coordination across teams to ensure compliance with our space standards
    • Design and facilitate, with support of local SMEs and managers, quarterly Property Services Forums 
    • Lead NY Property Services Team Engagement:
      • Action planning from Survey results
      • Team Town Hall meetings
      • NY Property Services Forum
    • Facilities Communication notifications (Approve and process planned and ad hoc Site Communication approvals and administration for NY properties)
    • Prepare presentations and business cases for leadership review
    • Other engagement activities.
  • Project managing ad-hoc projects for the Property Function and accurately maintain detailed project schedules
  • Collaborate with departments across the organization to implement Property Services programs, assist in developing policy positions and communicate those positions.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following fields: Program management, project management, data/cost analysis, or operations. Facilities analytics and/or workplace coordination preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in one of the above or related fields. Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
  • Experience analyzing workplace data and coordination of space
  • Demonstrate a high level of personal initiative and ability to interact with stakeholders to solve problems in a positive and collaborative manner.
  • Experience planning and running large online meetings
  • Experience driving deliverables through a cross functional team
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel across  NY as needed.

 

More Information

Salary: $106,000 - $125,000
