Lead Delivery Project Engineer
About the role
Grain LNG (GLNG) is Europe's largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal and the UK's leading gateway for global LNG, located on the Isle of Grain in Kent. The facility provides critical energy security for the UK, with the capacity to meet at least 25% of the UK's gas demand, offering storage, regasification, and reloading services.
The GLNG facility operates state of the art assets, managed via world class processes and procedures to ensure industry leading Asset Management practises. As a top tier Control of Major Accident Hazard (COMAH) site, a continuous program of capital expenditure (CAPEX) investment needs to be delivered to ensure the ongoing safety, reliability, availability and efficiency of the plant. To help deliver this challenging portfolio of works, GLNG are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Delivery Project Engineer to join the dynamic Technical Development and Delivery (TDD) department, acting as a focal point for the team. This will be realised by identifying cost efficiencies and improvements in productivity and resource utilisation whilst maintaining high levels of safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
Working closely with key terminal stakeholders, project controls, engineering and our contracting partners to drive maximum efficiency, you will be responsible for ensuring the workforce within the area is appropriately trained, competent and has the necessary flexibility to meet current and future workload requirements.
The role is based on site at Grain LNG in Rochester, so you must have a full UK driving licence and be able to get there.
