OHL Administrator - Asset Operations

We're looking for an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Administrator to join our Overhead Lines (OHL) team. This is an exciting opportunity to support a growing team delivering critical infrastructure projects that help connect homes, businesses and communities to a cleaner, more reliable electricity network. The role provides administrative and information management support to the OHL Capital Development team and wider OHL organisation.

 

This role is peripatetic, and we encourage a hybrid working approach, although we’re happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you!

What You'll Do

  • Managing databases, spreadsheets and information systems, ensuring data is accurate, organised and maintained appropriately.
  • Producing management reports, KPI information and business performance data.
  • Supporting meetings and working groups, including arranging meetings and taking minutes.
  • Preparing and distributing internal and external reports and plans.
  • Maintaining training and authorisation records and supporting compliance reporting.
  • Assisting with financial administration and expenditure tracking against budgets.
  • Contributing to team initiatives, events and wellbeing activities.

What You'll Have

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Further education qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, National Certificate or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an administrative, business support or coordination role.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident working with AI and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • A strong communicator who enjoys working with a range of stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently.
  • Professional, dependable and committed to delivering high-quality work.

What You'll Get

Up to £33,323 dependent on experience.

 

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
