Job Purpose

To supervise a team of assigned warehousing non-operations personnel in order to safely, effectively, and efficiently accomplish job tasks in line with departmental and National Grid’s performance objectives are achieved.

Key Accountabilities

  • Gather requests from internal customers (via email, phone, or in person) and enters orders into the SAP system for processing.
  • Perform all required SAP transactions (receipts, put-away, cycle counts, warehouse daily monitor, etc.) in order to support the daily warehouse non-operational requirements and comply with National Grid inventory management policies and SOX audit control requirements.
  • Participate in performance hub discussions with the workforce to promote safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct cause and corrective action (CCA) for warehouse transactions that lead to inventory integrity failures and ensure sustainability of program.
  • Help resolve delivery issues (incorrect items, partial deliveries, late deliveries, etc.) and provide support to internal and external stakeholders to comply with established service level agreements (SLA’s.).
  • Help resolve invoice issues (over shipments, incorrect items, partial delivers, incorrect invoices, etc.).
  • Contribute to the protection of the public and organizational personnel by ensuring all materials, standards and procedures are in line with National Grid safety policies and processes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma level qualification required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • Supervisory skills essential.
  • CDL-A or ability to obtain company paid. 
  • Valid Drivers licence reguired. 

More Information

Salary: $92,000 - $108,000 per year
