Job Purpose

The Project Controls team is accountable for the development, management, update, and analysis of project schedules and costs for a $1B+ portfolio of complex capital electric projects.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collect and analyze project data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks.
  • Create and maintain project control databases and tracking systems.
  • Analyze a broad variety of project data to evaluate and report on project performance, health, cost, and schedule KPIs
  • Organize, coordinate, track, follow up on, and lead staff- and department- level meetings related to project development and approval
  • Develop relationships and build networks within the Capital Delivery team; intake data and reporting requests, and build accessible, responsive, and creative solutions for our internal customers
  • Build beautiful, engaging, reliable, and accurate dashboards within Power BI that deliver actionable insights to project teams and senior leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in any discipline – a degree in a STEM discipline, or one that focuses on construction engineering or project management is preferred
  • 3-5 years of proven relevant experience
  • Developing listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PP, Excel) is required
  • Previous experience with data-oriented programming is preferred: SQL, Python, C++, etc. Computer programming experience of any kind, especially within the Microsoft environment (Visual Basic) is valuable.
  • Proficiency in Power BI & BI Workspaces is valuable
  • Previous utility project management and/or project controls experience is valuable

More Information

Salary: $106,000 - $125,000
