We are currently recruiting for a Technical Training Coordinator to join our team at National Grid.
Reporting to the UK Technical Training Planning Manager, the Technical Training Coordinator will be responsible for delivering a customer focused planning process to plan & schedule high quality learning experiences that meet clients technical, regulatory and safety learning needs through a blended learning approach and support the design and development of learning solutions.
Within the role you will use problem-solving skills to resolve a high number of non-routine queries. You’ll become a highly experienced user of the LMS (Learning Management System) and provide support for your colleagues and customers.
You will Support the Global Technical Training LSP (Learning Support Portal), acting as a Technical Training Planning Lead Subject Matter Expert and responsively answering customer queries generated through the ticketing system.
The role is hybrid with our site office based in Eakring with an expectation to attend the office 2/3 days a week and you can working from home and office.
Please note, due to the location of the office, you must be able to drive with a full UK licence.
What you'll do
- Liaise with Stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service
- Co-ordinate with business customers, ensuring training is scheduled as requested
- Support our external MSP (Managed Service Provider) to ensure external training is delivered to our business
- Handle non-routine tasks and queries
- Triage and resolve LSP requests, provide assistance and guidance on the LSP process
- Provide system support for the LMS, ensure the accuracy of the LMS data and provide training compliance management information, when requested
- Generate and analyse reports from LMS data as and when requested to meet customer expectations
- LMS Assignment Profiles creation and administration
- Monitor and maintain the highest levels of data. Ensuring proactive validation of all system entry including guidance and instruction for business users
- Provide support to colleagues in times of peak workload, sickness, or holiday
- Work within and promote the philosophy of safe team working and development across all National Grid activities to achieve business objectives and continuously improve performance
- Support the quality of training process including support for planners, coordinators, delivery teams and the Quality team
- Ensure compliance with quality process, and always promote safety, health and security at work whilst ensuring the environmental impacts of activities are minimised wherever possible
What you'll need
- Competent in the use of desktop packages such as Outlook, Excel, and Word with a high standard of keyboard and numeric skills
- Good analytical skills, with an ability to quickly analyse information and make decisions.
- Data management and presentation
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems e.g., SAP SuccessFactors is advantageous
- Proven competence of handling non-routine queries
- Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to work accurately whilst still meeting deadlines
- Competent in providing guidance and instruction to others as required
- Experience within a quality management and administration function is preferable
- Wide business/technical knowledge gained through experience
What you'll get
A competitive salary between £36,343 - £39,000 per annum– dependent on capability.
