UK Head of M&A
About us
At National Grid, we are investing around £70bn over five years in our networks in the UK and the US, with a range of ground-breaking projects to expand our networks. We operate across six business units in the UK and the north-east of the US, with group revenue around £18bn.
Our strategy is focussed on delivering the brilliant basics to lead on performance, driving big shifts to define our future, and building our delivery credibility to drive disciplined growth. With a CEO change in the last year, our M&A team will be at the heart of a range of strategic conversations, with our portfolio continuing to evolve.
We are now recruiting for a Head of UK M&A, to support the Group Head of M&A, providing regional leadership across UK / Europe M&A and strategic investment activity.

The role may lead individual transactions or support the Group Head of M&A in the execution of projects, depending on the scale and complexity of the opportunity. The person in post will be equally comfortable operating as a strategic thinker and a ‘hands-on doer’, and will be adept at building relationships internally and externally.
