International Sustainability Senior Manager

At National Grid, sustainability isn’t a side project—it’s at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for an International Sustainability Senior Manager to lead our global sustainability agenda and deliver impact where it matters most.

This is your chance to:


Drive international climate action – spearhead our COP31 programme and shape the conversation at London Climate Action Week and New York Climate Week.
Influence global policy – engage with leading coalitions and organisations to position National Grid as a sustainability leader worldwide.
Be the voice of change – bring fresh ideas from the international stage into our strategy and help us set ambitious goals for a cleaner, greener future.

 

You’ll work alongside our Chief Sustainability Officer, partner with senior leaders, and build relationships that span governments, NGOs, and industry bodies. If you thrive on complexity, collaboration, and making a real difference, this is your moment.

Whats in it for you

 

Competitive Salary between £77,000 p.a. to £96,000 p.a. Depending on experience. 

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance (up to 40% and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%. You will also have access to a number of flexible benefits such as a share incentive plan, salary sacrifice technology schemes, support via employee assistance lines and matched charity giving to name a few.

  • Proven experience in international climate policy and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong project leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • A persuasive communicator who can turn strategy into action.
