Job Purpose

The I&R Supervisor will be responsible for the safe and reliable installation, operation and maintenance of pressure regulators, instrument systems and gas conditioning equipment by directing company crews and contractors in a manner consistent with company objectives, government regulations and current technology at Gate Stations, Regulator Vaults, Government Buildings Field SCADA Sites, LNG facilities and/or commercial/industrial customers.

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Ensure the safety and integrity of our gas customer's premises as well as the Company's distribution system, consistent with Company policies, in full compliance with governmental codes and regulations.
  • Supervise workforce through coaching, counselling and team building to ensure tasks are carried out efficiently.
  • Ensure allocated resources are fully utilized in order to deliver work activities within planned unit and budget cost.
  • Ensure supervised teams comply with safety standards.
  • Review and execute the approval of area purchase orders, invoices and payroll activities.
  • Execute all work tasks in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Build good working relationships with internal and external customers and manage the day-to-day relationship.
  • Monitor performance of allocated staff including issues relating to sickness, discipline and poor standards of work in order to ensure that work is performed efficiently and effectively.
  • Act as the first point of contact for multiple internal stakeholders and outside agencies.

 

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in engineering discipline, required

· Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and regulation function, preferred

· Minimum of 3 years of people leadership experience, including direct supervision, performance management and/or team development, required

· Experience with mechanical system and gas process systems, preferred

· Valid Driver’s license, required.

$127k - $149k a year
