Control Tech Electrician-LNG
Hourly Pay Rate - $53.44

Key Accountabilities
- Work self-directed according to regulatory guidelines, company guidelines, OQ requirements and union contract guidelines.
- Be willing and able to enter confined spaces, and climb and work on ladders and structures.
- Perform licensed maintenance electrical work, maintenance to buildings and grounds at Gate and Regulator Stations and LNG Plants.
- Install, adjust, maintain, analyze and correct problems with Pressure Control equipment such as regulators, relief valves, valves, piping and associated equipment.
- Install, adjust, maintain, analyze and correct problems with Gas Conditioning equipment such as odorant systems, boiler/heaters, heat exchangers, and associated equipment.
- Install, adjust, maintain, analyze and correct problems with metering and gas quality equipment.
- Perform plant operations and maintain equipment at LNG Plants
- Perform any other work associated with Production and Control activities.
- Respond to calls outside regular working hours when necessary.
- Install, adjust, maintain, analyze and correct problems with electrical, communication, telemetering, and instrumentation equipment and systems used in Gate and Regulator Stations and LNG Plants
- Inspect, repair, adjust, calibrate and maintain district regulators, vaults, gate stations, odorization equipment, including odor level readings, LNG plant equipment and instrumentation Perform mechanical maintenance as directed.
- Maintain, calibrate, use and interpret mechanical and electronic pressure gauges, electronic testing equipment and gas monitoring equipment
- Complete computerized or paper documentation as required.
- Attend training sessions on equipment and be responsible to retain material covered..
- Three (3) years controls experience required, preferably in a plant environment
- Based at Commercial Point and working in all LNG plants covered by local 12003 as well as I&R facilities when required
- Performs all the duties of lower classifications
Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of basic mathematics.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English clearly.
- Ability and willingness to perform all required maintenance work or operating functions under varied weather conditions.
- Possess a valid drivers license to operate departmental vehicles.
- Pass the Department of Transportation physical exam requirements.
- Obtain DOT Medical Exam Certification, within one week of starting position.
- Ability to drive company vehicles.
- Possess a current Massachusetts Journeyman electrical license.
- Pass physical test
- Pass Mechanical Aptitude Test
