We’re looking for a passionate Finance Assistant – Credit Control to join our UK Procure to Pay and O2C. An opportunity has arisen within the Invoicing & Recoveries team, based at Pegasus for a Finance Assistant in the Credit Control Team. You will be responsible for the collection of all non-DUoS receivables within NGED.

 

This role is be based out of our Castle Donnington office, and you will be expected to work initially in the office Monday - Friday.  Once a successful training period has been completed, hybrid working option will become available.  This will need to be discussed and agreed with the Manager.  We’re happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you!

What You'll Do

  • Managing your own ledger on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensuring all invoices are chased in a timely manner.
  • Understanding of Debtor Days and working to SLA’s,
  • Dealing with customers who have not paid monies by the due date; associated disputes.
  • Dealing with enquiries from customers by telephone and written communication.
  • Liaising with the team managers and team supports at local office to resolve outstanding queries.
  • Producing and recording of follow up letters and all communications.
  • Provide up to date debtor information for both weekly and monthly management reporting.

What You'll Have

  • You should possess a good working knowledge and understanding of Credit Control.
  • Advanced Microsoft skills – especially in Excel
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse range of internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work toward and achieve set monthly targets.
  • Commitment to investigate and resolve disputes.
  • Personal responsibility for meeting Business and Customers’ expectations.

What You'll Get

Up to £35,283 depending on experience.

 

As well as your base salary you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
