National Grid is hiring a Senior Technical Inspector for our Gas Pipeline Safety & Compliance - Quality & Compliance Assurance department in Brooklyn, NY. This is a field-based role.

The Role

The Senior Technical Inspector will provide technical and compliance expertise from a field inspection perspective.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct field operations work site inspections, including Maintenance and Construction field personnel inspections and record reviews to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
  • Collect, sort, and analyze inspection data to identify deficiencies and overall patterns which may impact the quality and safety of operations, and provide recommendations to improve them
  • Maintain and document all results in relevant databases
  • Report findings and coordinate material disposition to internal and external stakeholders

 

About You

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of QA technical inspector gas utility experience required
  • Possess all Gas OQs required
  • Strong interpersonal skills required
  • Proven ability to develop, maintain and manage relationships at all levels
  • Valid driver’s license required

Salary

$113,000 - $132,000 a year
