Project Support Officer
About The Role
The Strategic Infrastructure (SI) business unit has been set up to deliver 17 new major projects in the UK, as well as other strategic projects to help us deliver on our net zero ambitions and help the UK Government meet its target of 50GW of renewable energy by 2030.
As a Project Support Officer you’ll provide support throughout the project delivery lifecycle. This will include supporting Delivery Director and Senior Leadership team with day-to-day project delivery tasks and working in a large integrated and collaborative project team. Tasks will include coordinating Senior Lead team calendar, project control processes, meeting planning and secretariat, coordinating key engagement events and wider interface coordination.
This role is based in our Birmingham office 2-3 days a week, with occasional travel to our project offices in the East Midlands.

- Experience of working in a commercial environment and of contract management processes
- Full, UK Driving License
What You'll Do
- Support Project Managers/Delivery director in organising and managing meetings/Calendar management.
- Manage action logs and prioritising workload for the team.
- Prepare reporting packs for presentation at forums / meetings / stakeholder events.
- Support the Document Controller with management of the Project SharePoint & ACC sites.
- Manage internal project communications.
- Process and progress Change Requests.
- Act as Technical Secretary in various meetings.
- Prepare governance documentation ahead of gate reviews

A competitive salary between £38,326 - £45,089– dependent on capability.
