Job Purpose
The Construction Planning Analyst ensures operational excellence by managing critical data, systems, and processes that support safe and efficient construction delivery. This role drives accuracy in work order systems, optimizes reporting tools, and enhances digital resources, enabling field teams and leadership to make informed decisions. The position offers opportunities to influence process improvements and contribute to strategic initiatives across Electric Distribution.
Key Accountabilities
· Analyze data to assess risks, understand business impacts, and support prioritization of objectives to drive results
· Support the invoicing process for T&D, including purchase order management, invoice tracking, communication, and issue resolution.
· Perform central configuration updates and proactively maintain STORMS work orders to ensure data integrity and operational readiness.
· Provide oversight of the Inspection & Maintenance process: manage dates, documentation, and the as-built revision process to support field operations.
· Run and monitor status reports; receive, review, and distribute the Quarterly Inactive Report.
· Develop and maintain job aids and process flow charts to standardize practices across Construction Planning and Work Support teams.
· Manage and update the team’s SharePoint site to ensure accurate, accessible resources for all stakeholders.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in technical, business, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
· 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, construction planning, or related operational support.
· Proficiency in Power BI, SharePoint, STORMS, SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, ARM, and P6 Team Member.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong planning and organizational skills with the flexibility to reprioritize as needed.
· Familiarity with National Grid’s operations, policies, and practices is preferred.
· Proficiency in Power BI, SharePoint, STORMS, SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, ARM, and P6 Team Member.
· Understanding of the end-to-end job lifecycle from customer initiation through project completion.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across departments.
· Ability to deliver accurate work on complex issues under tight deadlines.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across departments and with external stakeholders.
· Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable to changing priorities.
· Availability to support storm/emergency response activities as required

$81k - $95k a year
