National Grid is hiring a Stakeholder and Reporting Manager. This position will be located in our Brooklyn, New York, Syracuse, New York or Waltham, MA office with hybrid working.
Job Purpose
National Grid is looking for a Stakeholder and Reporting Manager, a key role in the Ethics team reporting to the Global Ethics Director.
The successful candidate will be a proactive individual with an ability to interface with a variety of stakeholders and to identify, interpret and communicate ethics case data. The Stakeholder and Reporting Manager will liaise with all parties interested or involved in the ethics investigation process, while also actively managing all ethics allegations, generating reports on metrics and trends in investigations, and ensuring that recommended remediations are implemented.
Key Accountabilities
In this role, you will be responsible for stakeholder engagement, case management and reporting of all ethics allegations submitted to National Grid in the US and UK. The key responsibilities include:
- Accountable for case management of all allegations received, tracking and monitoring all cases and ensuring they are progressing to enable resolution in line with industry standards.
- Work with the US and UK Heads of Investigations to conduct regular case review to understand the status of each investigation, including flagging issues that may cause delays to resolution.
- Identify, interpret and communicate data and trends across all ethics allegations received, including generating Executive-level reports.
- Prepare all relevant data requests and reports to enable reporting to the Executive team and other relevant committees (done by the Director), updating them on trends and recommended actions.
- Ensure that recommendations, identification of control weaknesses and remedial action plans are in place and implemented. Follow-up with the business on the implementation of remedial action plans to address control weaknesses and report progress as needed.
- Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with stakeholders in key functions (Legal, HR, Compliance, the business etc.), including fielding information requests, and sharing and tracking recommended remediations.
- Support Case Intake Manager with front-end stakeholder engagement as needed.
- Help facilitate a “safe-to-say” culture where employees feel comfortable to raise ethics and compliance concerns.
Qualifications
- Professional experience managing ethics and/or compliance preferably in a corporate environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, together with relevant professional accreditations in investigations, ethics or compliance.
- Proficient in PowerBI, including power-automate and SQL logic, to create analytics for problem-solving and to identify patterns and behaviors.
- Familiarity with case management platforms such as Navex.
- Ability to generate Executive-level reports.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and perform tasks while interfacing with multiple stakeholders.
- Service provider attitude and commitment supporting internal customers.
- Excellent analytical and agile reasoning skills with ability to identify trends in investigations and assess underlying causes.
- Strong ethical awareness and integrity, with the ability to make unbiased, objective decisions
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with a wide variety of stakeholders and capability to build effective working relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve ethical issues.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, with ability to manage busy reporting schedule.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

Salary
Brooklyn, New York - $157,000 – $170,000 (dependant on skills and experience)
Waltham, Massachusetts - $147,000 – $160,000 (dependant on skills and experience)
Syracuse, New York - $131,000 – $150,000 (dependant on skills and experience)
