Job Purpose
Reporting to the Manager of Performance, the Senior Analyst will work seamlessly with the NY Electric Operations organization and be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of risk management and compliance performance through monitoring, assessing and maintaining our internal controls and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, be highly organized and have expertise in risk management enterprise systems. Candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced organization collaborating with various stakeholders across the Company.
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee business controls and compliance, providing advisory support to maintain the control environment, increase risk assessment awareness and drive a strong controls culture.
- Maintain oversight of regulatory obligations within GRC, reviewing control descriptions, coordinating with Business Compliance, and ensuring accuracy in the control assessments.
- Lead the CEO Certification Project for T&D Electric Operations, ensuring timely completion of obligations in GRC Archer and providing progress reports to senior leadership.
- Complete quarterly reviews of Principal Risks, evaluating the risk event, casual factors and impacts to the business.
- Conduct Control Self-Assessments for various controls being tested to evaluate the effectiveness of controls based on discussions with Control Owners and Performers.
- Collaborate with Control Owners, Performers, and Business Compliance to review controls and provide evidence of their effectiveness. Participate in risk reviews and optimization projects to identify key controls and eliminate redundancies.
- Manage the annual Fraud and Bribery Risk Assessment, coordinating the review process and ensuring timely completion of assessments.
- Oversee Semi-Annual Compliance and the My Obligations List (MOL) sign-off process, conducting risk assessments to ensure that our fraud and risk profile remains stable.
- Lead the signoff process for the Certificate of Assurance, facilitating a self-certification exercise for VPs to declare any significant weaknesses in internal controls, compliance issues, and risk management.
- Maintain an overview of overdue orders, action items, and remediation plans. Proactively engage with accountable individuals to ensure timely completion of actions, utilizing the Global Obligations Management dashboard.
- Oversee compliance training programs ensuring all T&D employees complete the required training modules.
- Serve as Data Privacy & Records Coordinator for T&D Electric Operations.
Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in risk management and compliance.
- Strong understanding of regulatory obligations and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in GRC tools and compliance management systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decision making and work collaboratively across teams.

Salary: $92,000 - $108,000
