National Grid is hiring a Senior Analyst to support National Grids UK Land and Property business.

 

You’ll join a team of Finance Business Partners who work hand in hand with Directors of National Grid’s UK Land and Property team, responsible for managing and maintaining the estate.

 

In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of numbers as part of the month end process alongside preparing insightful analysis and accompanying draft narrative of financial reports.

You will also support the Quarterly Rolling Forecast process with Finance Business Partners, as well as key financial inputs for entity/ functional requirements.

 

This role is based from Warwick and you can enjoy our hybrid working from office and home.

 

What you'll need

 

  • Qualified or near Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
  • Strong financial planning and analysis, forecasting, reporting, and budgeting experience.
  • Experience of month end processes and reporting, with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong MS Excel skills, you can manipulate data and create visualisations.
  • Ability to build relationships across the business and influence stakeholders.
  • A self-starter with an inquisitive mindset, you like to understand the numbers.
  • Detail orientated, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to manage one’s own work, especially when having multiple tasks and duties.
  • Utility industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Exposure to SAP and SAC is desirable.

A competitive salary between £48,374 - £57,012 – dependent on capability.
