We’re looking for an enthusiastic Pay Systems Administrator (SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll – ECP) to join our Enterprise Business Services (EBS) as we embark on an exciting transformation journey to redefine our role as a premier provider of efficient and effective services across National Grid.
We are revamping our end-to-end processes to ensure top-notch service delivery to our internal teams and external partners worldwide and you will play a vital role in the daily configuration, testing, and enhancement of our payroll applications. While collaborating with People Support teams, IT, Global Product Owners, and other key stakeholders you will be translating business needs and requirements, supporting with implementation of regulatory changes and audit requirements, as well as enhancements and fixes to drive the efficiency of the solution.

This role will be based out of our Warwick office, and you can enjoy our hybrid working from office and home. Occasional travel to the US be required for training and project activities.
What You’ll do:
- Central technical subject matter expert and enterprise administrator. Drive the configuration and optimization of the system to support business needs globally.
- Working with a third-party application support team to manage system configuration, architecture, role-based permissions, data integrity, and releases and monitoring and driving the resolution of defects providing guidance and testing where necessary.
- Supporting Product Owners to develop solutions to system challenges, collect user requirements, research technical practices, engage with the SAP SuccessFactors community and user groups to stay on top of leading practices.
- Executing and coordinating User Acceptance Testing and Regression Testing for designated system changes and defect fixes.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and optimizations within payroll operations, driving efficiency and enhancing business value while prioritizing the backlog
- Manage your work and projects, navigate ambiguity and build collaborative relationships to enable an exceptional user experience.
- Expected to take on responsibility that may be broader than their own work as part of gathering requirements for enhancements and working with 3rd parties for successful solution of the Payroll System while partnering on other HR projects.
What You’ll Have:
- Experience in HR, particularly in HR Operations/Payroll focusing on employee lifecycle management.
- Proficient in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and integrated payroll solutions.
- Experience in other SuccessFactors modules (e.g. Employee Central, Time Off), SAP S/4Hana, Workforce Software, integration solutions is a plus.
- Preferred experience in reporting and data analysis.
- Proven track record of collaborating in large teams to tackle complex challenges.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and knowledge of UK legislation is a plus.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, or similar software.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Exceptional teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts in simple terms.
- Strong project and time management skills.

What You'll Get:
A competitive salary of up to £48,000–£58,000 dependent on capability.
As well as your base salary you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
