National Grid is hiring our Global Recruitment Advisor. This position is based at NG House, Warwick and we offer hybrid working with 2 days on site.

About The Role

 

As a Global Recruitment Advisor, you will play a vital role in shaping our talent acquisition journey on a global scale! You will be the driving force behind coordinating and supporting all recruitment activities, ensuring that our Recruitment Centre of Excellence operates seamlessly.

 

Your responsibilities will include crafting and overseeing innovative hiring strategies, coordinating engaging job postings, screening top-tier candidates, and scheduling interviews that create a positive and efficient recruitment experience.

What You'll Do

 

As a Global Recruitment Advisor, you will coordinate and support all recruitment activities across the globe. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Early Careers Event Planning: Take charge of planning exciting early careers events! From scheduling dates to coordinating assessors, you’ll ensure everything runs smoothly while managing expenses and claims.
  • Recruitment Coordination: Manage logistics for candidate interviews across different time zones, ensuring a positive experience for all involved. You’ll handle interview invitations, room bookings, and more!
  • Recruitment Queries: Be the go-to expert for candidates and hiring managers, providing specialist advice and responding to queries about the recruitment process.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Coordination: Collaborate closely with recruitment teams, hiring managers, and external agencies to meet staffing needs and create a positive experience for everyone.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist in the global onboarding process for new hires, including visa support, relocation assistance, and cross-cultural integration.
  • Visa & Right to Work Governance: Ensure compliance by overseeing RTW checks and visa management, keeping everything on track with timely updates.

About You

 

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

 

  • Strong process management and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • A customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Familiarity with global employment trends, laws, and immigration policies.
  • Knowledge of recruitment coordination processes and HR operations (desired).
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field, or relevant HR certification (desired).
  • Experience in HR, ideally within an HR Operations environment focusing on employee lifecycle management (desired).

More Information

 

This role is offered on a Full-Time, Permanent basis. 
 
We are also offering hybrid /flexible working where you will be in the office 2 days per week. Base location for this role will be NG House, Warwick.
