  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure safe, timely, and high-quality delivery of services
  • Support the design, construction, and commissioning of new assets, including upgrades and minor modifications
  • Contribute to the development and review of emergency, safety, operational, and environmental procedures

This is a rare opportunity to work on a site of this scale and complexity. You’ll be exposed to a huge variety of equipment and systems—and we’ll provide full training to help you grow into the role, including GLNG SAP authorisation.

What you'll need

  • Hands-on experience with HV switching operations, switching schedules, and SAP responsibilities preferred
  • Practical knowledge of electrical systems including switchgear, transformers, generators, and motors
  • In-depth understanding of electrical systems from 24V up to 11kV
  • Experience in electrical protection testing and commissioning (desirable)
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and write ISSOW safety documentation
  • Familiarity with COMAH regulations, hazardous areas and safety protocols on top-tier sites
  • Environmental awareness and emergency response capability
  • Strong planning, communication, and contractor management skills
  • Relevant qualifications: HNC in Engineering (or willingness to work towards), NEBOSH/IOSH, COMPEX, or HV Operations Course
