National Grid is hiring a Project Management Analyst within National Grid Ventures Interconnectors within the Development Consent Order (DCO) workstream.
As a Project Management Analyst within the Development Consent Order (DCO) workstream, you will be responsible for ensuring the supporting Contractors on LionLink are delivering high quality outputs in line with the overall programmes. This includes design, stakeholder and environmental services.
You will be part of the team that is responsible for achieving consent for LionLink which allows for a safe, efficient and high quality project design that can start construction as per the project programme.
We offer flexible hybrid working arrangements. We’d hope to see you in our Warwick office one or 2 days a week, and there also may be some adhoc travel to different sites.
You must also be able to drive and have a full UK driving licence for this role.
What you'll do
- Assist with managing the contractors across LionLink working on the DCO submission.
- Represent NGV in technical meetings, design reviews, and stakeholder engagements.
- Provide input to cost management, schedules, and risk assessments.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental performance in all activities.
- Produce reports, presentations as required to support key decision points and capture analysis, designs and lessons learned
- Own the change management for any scope or programme changes liasing with PMO team
- Work closely with Contract Management team to efficiently manage contracts through FastDraft
What you'll need
- Ability to work across multi-disciplined teams
- Ability to lead multiple contractors
- Experience in managing external stakeholders
- Experience in project management, including scope, cost, schedule, and risk control.
- High level knowledge of interconnector business
- Experience in development or construction projects
What you'll get
A competitive salary between £48,374 - £57,012 per annum– dependent on capability.
