Commercial Performance Manager
GB
About The Role
Brand New Role – Permanent – Hybrid Working Using Birmingham & London Offices
Great Britain's electricity infrastructure is undergoing an ambitious, exciting and vital transformation. Together with industry, we are creating a cleaner, greener system, one that protects the planet and serves generations to come.
Our Great Grid Partnership (GGP) Commercial and Cost Director joined us earlier this year and is growing his team who are based across the U.K.
As part of this growth our Head of Cost Management has joined working from our Glasgow office too.
This growth continues and we now have a Commercial Performance Manager role available who will report into our Head of Cost Management.
As our Commercial Performance Manager, you will love data and the opportunity to use it better.
You’ll relish manipulating and optimising systems for better results such as SharePoint and Power BI.
You may be from any industry not just infrastructure or construction. You may be from Financial Services or I.T, with a passion Net Zero and our role in this journey.
You’ll work with other professionals such as our Lead Cost Manager providing your expertise with data management and improvement, overlapping your input with their experience in construction or large infrastructure.
Working together, you will add huge benefit to make our infrastructure projects more efficient.
These roles are very hybrid as our team are based across the UK. Our Head of Cost Management is Scotland based and our Director is London based and we have team members in between! So wherever you’re based in the UK, we’d love to hear from you.
We continue to offer hybrid working from office and home and currently the vast majority of activity is completed from a home basis.
We are open to full time and part time applicants, as well as flexible working arrangements.
About You

At National Grid, we’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace for everyone. So if you’re excited about this role but your experience or qualifications don’t match the job description exactly, we encourage you to apply anyway. You might just be the right person for our growing business in this role or another one.
